Robert Sean McBrearty

Robert Sean McBrearty, 49, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and adventure. Born on June 8, 1976, Robert was the beloved son of Charles and Linda McBrearty of Satellite Beach, Florida, and beloved brother of Jennifer Whiteside, who survive him. Robert was a man whose life was defined by his unwavering love for his family. He is survived by his wife, Taylor, his partner in every sense of the word, and their three young children—Sean (8), Knox (5), and Camille (2). To his children, he was not only a father but a constant source of laughter, encouragement, and inspiration. He coached his sons’ soccer teams with enthusiasm, instilling in them both work ethic and sportsmanship, and delighted in giving his little Cami girl anything she ever asked for. A gifted student and leader, Robert attended the University of Florida, where he earned his undergraduate degree and was a proud member of the Chi Phi fraternity. He went on to earn a master’s in engineering from the University of Central Florida and a master’s in business from Duke University, equipping him for a dynamic professional life. Over his lifetime, he has lived and traveled all over the world, but he and his family chose to make their forever home in Jupiter, Florida. There, he quickly became a respected and cherished member of the community, known for his warm smile, his presence at school drop-offs riding his bike alongside his sons on their scooters, his dedication to youth soccer and for never missing a Friday night dinner date with his wife. Robert was an avid surfer and fisherman, passions that he loved passing down to his sons. His charm, humor, intelligence, and work ethic earned him the admiration of colleagues and friends alike. But above all, Robert will be remembered for his devotion to his family. He was happiest surrounded by Taylor and the children, creating memories in everyday moments including his beloved Sunday donut runs, that will live forever in their hearts. Robert’s sudden passing leaves an immeasurable void, but his spirit will continue to guide those who loved him most. His legacy of love and selflessness will endure through his wife, children, family, and countless friends who were fortunate enough to know him. The “Celebration of Life” service for our Bobby will be held at The Tides Club, 1001 N Highway A1A Patrick Space Force Base, beginning at 3:00pm, on Thursday, September 18th. Following the Celebration of Life, a Memorial "Paddle Out Ceremony" will take place at 6:00pm, also, at the Tides Club, 1001 N Highway A1A, Patrick Space Force Base FL, 32925.
