Alice Vail Quinn

Alice Vail Quinn, 73, of Newtown Square, PA, and Jupiter, FL, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Jupiter Medical Center. Alice was born in 1952 to parents Charles and Pat Vail, the fourth of eight children. Alice grew up in Lansdowne, PA, and graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School. Alice went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Cabrini College and continued her education at the University of Dayton, where she taught and obtained a Master's degree in Philosophy. After completing her education, Alice spent years as a Sales & Marketing Director at hotels in Philadelphia and Florida. She hosted radio and television programs, and helped launch the magazine “Great Golf Resorts of the World.” While consulting in the hospitality industry, Alice met her husband of forty years, Jack Quinn. Alice and Jack were married in 1984 in Philadelphia. In 1985, they started their family, welcoming their son John, and two years later they welcomed their daughter Katie. Alice and Jack raised their family in Newtown Square, PA, and Alice continued her career as an executive in Marketing and Technology. Alice was a philanthropic and charitable person throughout her life, particularly with respect to causes serving families in need, the homeless, and children. She was an avid golfer and loved to organize events. Alice was the first to reach out to new neighbors and new mothers, always seeing the good in people, supporting people, connecting people, and making people feel welcome. She was a dear friend to many. After retirement, Alice and Jack split their time between Newtown Square and Jupiter. They spent their time golfing, traveling the world, and being with family and friends. Alice will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, and the many people whose lives she touched. Alice is survived by her husband, Jack; her son, John and her daughter, Katie; her siblings, Carol Pechin (husband George Pechin), Chuck Vail, Phyllis Vail, Pat Resnick (husband Scott Resnick) and Michael Vail (wife Suzanne Vail); and, her dozens of beloved nieces and nephews. Alice was predeceased by her parents Charles and Pat Vail; her sister, Maureen Vail (husband Rob Jacobs); and her brother, Steven Vail (wife Peg Sullivan).
