William D. Nine, Sr.

William D. Nine, Sr. 91, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, formerly of Ewing Township, passed away Tuesday after a lengthy illness at his residence. Mr. Nine was born Jan. 8, 1922 in Trenton, NJ, son of the late Vincent Nine and Angelina Tramontana Nine. He had been a resident of the Palm Beaches for the past 24 years, after moving from the Trenton area. Mr. Nine was a graduate of Trenton High School and was the class President of his class. He worked for GM, UAW as a line operator. Mr. Nine was also a Broker Realtor for 40 years. Mr. Nine was a World War II Veteran U.S. Army Artillery Unit where he served overseas in Africa and Italy. Survivors include his loving son, William D. Nine, Jr. of Bordentown and his beloved long term Caregiver and Nurse Lisa M. Floyd. Viewing will be held Thursday from 2p.m.-4p.m. and 6p.m.-8p.m. at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center St., Jupiter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1701 Indian Creek Parkway, Jupiter, FL. Entombment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta, FL. Any donations can be made to Hospice of Palm Beach.
