Tonya Annette Russo Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Tonya Annette Russo, 43, of Jupiter Inlet Colony, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at home. She is survived by her husband Mark Chase; her two children Nicole H. Russo and Andrew W. Russo III; her sisters Theresa Murray and Rhonda Bennette; her brother Roy Rogers. Tonya was a loving mother and a devoted wife. Tonya was born in Hahira, GA and was raised in southern Georgia and in Tallahassee, Florida. She had a difficult childhood but overcame emotional, financial and social barriers to become the first person in her family to graduate college. She attended Florida State University where she earned her nursing degree. She was a natural fit for being a nurse, as she was a very loving and caring person, which was passed onto her patients, as well as her family and friends. Tonya's real passion in life was her children Nicole and Andrew. She loved and adored them, raising them to be exceptional children, and giving them the childhood she didn't have. Tonya will be missed by all who knew her, especially her children and family. A memorial service will be held for family and friends at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Tequesta. A reception will follow immediately after at the Jupiter Inlet Beach Club.
