Therese F. Dwyer Age 85, of Tequesta, FL, passed away Saturday evening, November 26, 2011. Born in Chicago, IL, she had been a resident of Tequesta for forty nine years, coming from Chicago. Therese graduated from Mundelein College in Chicago in 1948. Mrs. Dwyer was a valued parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church actively involved with CCW, a lector, Eucharistic minister and a member of the RCIA Team. She was a founding member of the River Edge Tennis Club and served on their Board. Mrs. Dwyer was a Residential Chair Person for the United Way of Palm Beach County. She was a woman of great faith, dedicated to raising her eight children and supporting her husband. Survivors include her six sons, Kenneth (Lucy) Dwyer of North Palm Beach, FL, Joseph Dwyer of Greenwood, IN, William (Dianne) Dwyer of Stuart, FL, Terrence "Mike" (Megan) Dwyer of Roswell, GA, John (Kimm) Dwyer of The Woodlands, TX and Thomas (Lisa) Dwyer of Dedham, MA; two daughters, Patricia (Raymond O'Brien) Dwyer of La Canada, CA and Mary Ann (Brent) Frank of Woodridge, IL; sixteen grandchildren, Megan, Madelyn, Rachel, Sean, Ford, Brennan, Kenna, Ray, Will, Matt, Jack, Jesse, Kirsten, Brian, Erin and Will; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Dwyer in 1985. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10 AM, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at St. Jude Catholic Church with burial to follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach, FL. Friends are invited to meet with the family from 6-8:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
