Sarah G. Dias, 85, of Jupiter, Florida, passed away Wednesday February 13, 2013 at the Hospice of Palm Beach County in the Jupiter Pavilion. She was born in Miami, Florida on March 15, 1927 to Mr. & Mrs. Charles and Daisy Lou Garbett. She was formerly the President of Heavy Lift Services in the Port of Palm Beach. She is predeceased by her husband Robert A. Dias. She is survived by her son Glen (Tina Marie) Dias of Jupiter; grandchildren Joseph W. Dias and Robert A. Dias II both of Jupiter; great-grandchildren Eliza and Nicklaus Dias both of Jupiter; sister Marilyn (Jack) Braddock of Stuart; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held for family and friends at Taylor and Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center Street, Jupiter, FL. 33458, on Saturday February 16, 2013 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Sunday February 17, 2013 at 12:30 pm. She will be laid to rest at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta immediately following the funeral. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL. 33407.
