Paul A. Biadasz

PAUL ANDREW BIADASZ Paul Biadasz, of Jupiter, FL, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 2, at age 84. Born Feb. 28, 1931, in Webster, MA, Paul was the son of Stanley and Mary Biadasz. He is survived by his wonderful wife of 58 years, Theresa; their three children, Peter Biadasz of Tulsa, OK, Sara Biadasz of Atlanta, GA, and Amy Cone (Bill) of Pittsburgh, PA; six grandchildren, Andy Biadasz, Danielle Dobias (Alex), Angela, Alex, Matthew and Patrick Cone; and two sisters, Rose Jarzabski of Fiskdale and Theresa Strzelewicz of Webster. Paul spent his formative years in Webster, attending St. Joseph's School and Bartlett High School. He later attended the New England School of Accounting and Bryant University. His love of music started early as a high school band member and continued as he played with the Ray Stone Orchestra and the Pulaski Brass Band. Paul enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1950 and played clarinet with the Admiral's Band until his discharge in 1954. After working in various accounting positions until the late 1960s, Paul was hired as a government auditor with the defense department and was transferred to Palm Beach Gardens, FL, in 1970. As one of the founding families of the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola, he was a choir member, usher, CCD teacher, Eucharistic minister, Parish Council president, parish talent show participant, member of the men's club, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Prison Ministry, Respect Life ministry, Fourth Degree color corps of Knights of Columbus Councils 6988 and 4999, and a rosary maker. After retirement, Paul enjoyed life to its fullest, traveling the globe with his travel agent wife, taking groups to five continents, including eight pilgrimages to Ireland and 10 to Medjugorje, and taking more than 50 cruises. He celebrated life with gusto, marking his 60th birthday with a hot-air balloon ride, his 65th birthday with a glider plane ride and his 80th with a zipline ride. Life was "fantastic" when he was surrounded by family and friends. A funeral Mass was celebrated Aug. 6 at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola. A memorial Mass is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at St. Joseph's Basilica in Webster. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Webster.
