Monique Vasto Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Monique Vasto, 90, of Juno Beach, passed away on May 15, 2015 at her home in the Waterford Community of Juno Beach. Mrs. Vasto was born Monique Jouas on June 14, 1924 in Le Pecq, France, near Versailles.She was an only child and loved to travel throughout Europe and later in the United States. Monique was a very artistic person, having a gift of appreciation of art as well as a talent for oil painting and design. She was in sales in fashion both in France and in America. Her beautiful art will live on with her family and friends. Monique was preceded in her death by her husband, Sam, and is survived by Sam's family. Daughter, Rosemary and husband Rick, grandsons and family Adam and Lynda Theriault, and Justin and Jessica Theriault. Adam and Lynda have two children, Myles and Shay, who were the highlight of Monique's life and brought her much pleasure. She was pleased to know that Justin and Jess were expecting a baby girl, Ophelia, to be born in August. There will be a celebration of Her Life planned at the Waterford for Friday, June 5 at 11:30 am for family and friends.
