The pearl is nature's most impeccable gem. Elegance with modesty – unassuming beauty – lustrous natural grace - smooth to the touch – humble of beginnings, but pure of heart and timeless - forever. Martha, Mom – everything about you, your life and how you lived – was the pearl of a lifetime. God blessed us with Martha Magdalene Foernzler on June 10, 1927. God lifted Martha Magdalene Van Sickle to heaven on December 14, 2013. Our beloved Martha – Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend – who was taken into God's arms this day – will always be remembered for her unselfish giving, love and devotion to those around her. Our lives are forever blessed by your presence in them and the shining example of how beautifully and lovingly you lived yours. You will dwell in our hearts always. Martha smiles upon her husband of 65 years, Sam G. Van Sickle of Tequesta, FL, her three sons, Mark L. Van Sickle of Stuart, FL, D. Scott Van Sickle of Atlanta, GA and Craig W. Van Sickle of La Canada, CA (wife Wendy Ferren Van Sickle); five grandchildren, Jessica, Ryan, Aridae, Samantha and Wills; sisters Claire Huneke of Louisville, KY and Sonja Eubank of Greenwood, IN; brother Bill Foernzler of Beech Grove, IN. A lifetime of those she touched and loved with the generous spirit of her heart. A celebration of Martha's life will be held at the JupiterFIRST Church, 1475 Indian Creek Parkway, Jupiter, FL on January 17th 2014 at 2 pm.
