Mr. Lawrence Elliot "Larry" Berns

Lawrence Elliot Berns, age 57 of Tequesta, Florida died on October 11th, 2010, due to complications from lung cancer and pulmonary fibrosis. Lawrence was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 7th, 1953. Larry, as he was known by most, was lovingly raised by Robert and Jean Berns in Westfield, New Jersey. While attending Westfield Senior High School, Larry discovered a lifelong passion for music. Along his journey, he owned several small businesses and became a master carpenter. Larry is survived by his father, Robert; his brother David and sister Milly; his sons, David, Lucas and Erik and his soon-to-be-born grandson Beau. Friends will be invited to meet with the family on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Taylor Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center St., Jupiter with a Memorial Service to follow at 8 pm in the chapel.
