Jason passed away on July 5, 2012 at the young age of 34, while on vacation in Grand Cay Bahamas with his sister and ten of his close dear friends. Jason was a graduate of Jupiter High School in 1996. His passions were fishing, biking, snorkeling and the outdoors. He leaves behind his loving parents, Kathy and Jimmy Mercak and his sister, Melissa Perzanowski; his loving girlfriend Linda Backman; his aunts and uncles, Susan (James) Pentalow, Bill Mysliwiec, James (Susan) Mysliwiec and Pia Mysliwiec; 11 cousins and many devoted friends. A visitation will be held from 4-7:30 PM, Friday, July 13, 2012 at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home. A Prayer Service will be at 7 PM during the visitation. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation, 3222 Commerce Place, Suite B, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 in loving memory of Jason.
