Frederick C. Weiss, Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Frederick C. Weiss Jr., age 81, of Jupiter, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014. He was a retired Vice President and former manager for Merrill Lynch, a member of the Charles E. Merrill Circle, past chairman of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, and Board of Trustee member for the Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County. Frederick attended Nazareth Hall Military School in Toledo, Ohio; Georgia Military Academy in Atlanta, Georgia; and was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy Class of 1957. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Naval Reserves for eight years. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter, also an expert bridge player. He loved to read and listen to classical music with his dog at his side. Frederick is survived by his wife, Margaret S. Weiss; sons, Frederick C. Weiss III of Kissimmee, FL and Eric T. Weiss of Juno Beach, FL; sister, Donna Niehous of Toledo, OH. There will be a memorial gathering for family and friends at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home in Jupiter on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.
