Charlotte G. Johnson

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Charlotte Johnson passed peacefully on her birthday, July 24, 2013, at the age of 95. Born in Iron Mountain, Michigan, she lived a beautiful life. After high school she attended Dundon's Business College and in 1941 married the love of her life and moved to Columbus, Ohio where she spent many years in retailing. She was an avid tennis player, loved bird watching and playing the piano. She was a charter member of Covenant Presbyterian Church (Upper Arlington) and a member of Eastern Star. Since moving to Jupiter, FL in 2007 she became a member of JupiterFirst Church and an active resident at Mangrove Bay. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Earl "Bob" Johnson. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Johnson and son-in-law Rev. Dr. Barry Johnson of Jupiter; grandchildren Megan (Luis) Escamilla of Hong Kong and Mitchell (Dianne) Riley of Atlanta, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Logan and Liam Escamilla and Cairo Riley; sister, Nancy (Bob) Christensen of Waupun, Wisconsin. She leaves a legacy of endless wonderful memories. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, August 6 at 11:00 AM at JupiterFirst Church, 1475 Indian Creek Parkway, Jupiter, FL 33458.
