Carl E DuBose Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Age 75, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Carl was born in Hoboken, Georgia to the late Lawson and Mrytle DuBose. He is a veteran of the United States Army, a graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College and University of Georgia. He is retired from Farm Credit of Florida as VP/Regional Manager of South Florida. He is also President of Jupiter Reality Services. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Elsie DuBose, children Sharon Evers (Clay), Maria Huggins (Bo), Michael DuBose (Reba). Five grandchildren who affectionately called him "Jane-Jane" and are his pride and joy, Danny, Carly, Breana, Marisa and Brooke. Siblings Burnette (Louise), Wayne (Phyllis), Darrell (Rose), Russell (Katrina) DuBose and Linda Sinclair (Curt). Carl touched the lives of many people with his generosity and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Visitation will be Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, Jupiter, FL. Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 5, 2012 at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church of Tequesta. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Global Maritime Ministries, P.O. Box 450787, New Orleans, LA 70175-0787.
