Barbara T. Jarvis Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Barbara Lou Tuning Jarvis, 87, of Tequesta, Florida, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart. Barbara was born March 6, 1927 in Coolspring, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Tequesta, Florida. We will always remember Barbara's wonderful smile and caring outlook on life. Barbara is survived by her Daughter, Rebecca (John Rood) Jarvis Hill of Ellerslie, Georgia; two Sons, Robert Nathan (Susan) Jarvis Jr. of Micco, Florida and William Franklin (Debbie) Jarvis of Jupiter, Florida; two Brothers, Jim (Diane) Tuning and Randy Tuning; seven Grandchildren, Michael (Amanda) Jarvis, David (Gretchen) Hill Jr., Mary (Brian Johnson) Hill, Thomas Hill, Tara (Adam Catino) Jarvis, Erica (Michael Carrasco) Jarvis and Nathan Jarvis; eleven Great-Grandchildren and two additional Great-Grandchildren due in August. Barbara is preceded in death by her loving Husband, Robert Nathan Jarvis Sr. who passed away March 16, 1999 in Ellaville, Georgia; Parents, Archie F. Tuning Sr. and Ruth Holland Tuning; Brother, Archie (Bud) Tuning Jr. Barbara will be reunited with her Husband at the Andersonville National Cemetery in Andersonville, Georgia.
