Anna Catherine Gick
August 4, 1923 - March 10, 2014
Anna C. Gick, 90, of Jupiter passed away Monday, March 10, 2014. Always up for a song and a dance, Ann was singing her favorite Broadway hits right up till her passing, her favorite song to sing was "Give My Regards to Broadway". Raised in NYC she was a regular Broadway spectator and carried that enjoyment of plays throughout her life. Ann had a bubbly personality and brought a smile to your face with her infamous, "Hello! How are ya?" greeting or one of her silly comments that just made you laugh out loud. Ann enjoyed boating in her younger years and later was able to find that same group camaraderie in traveling cross country with several motor home clubs. Ann's friendly smile and belly chuckle will be missed by many friends and family. Ann is predeceased by husband of 51 years, Gustavus M. Gick and her brothers William and John Cunningham. She is survived by her daughters Dorothy (Ted) Potts and Judith (Robert) Carter; grandsons Gregory (Dhiaa) Potts, Brian (Jennifer) Potts, Chris (Rachael) Spano and Robert (Amy) Spano; and eight great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation for family and friends at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home in Jupiter on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM with a funeral service at 6:00 PM. Ann will be interred with her husband at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on Friday, March 14, 2014.
