Pauline Florence (Flo) Dinzik

Pauline Florence (Flo) Dinzik (Deutschlander) died peacefully on April 9, 2018 in Tequesta, Florida, just short of her 91st birthday.. Flo is survived by her daughter, Darlene Kuzmak, her husband Daniel and their family in Massachusetts; by her son, Daniel Dinzik Jr., his wife Pamela and their family in Stuart; and by her son Douglas Dinzik, his with Ruth and their family in Jupiter. She now rejoins the love of her life and husband of 68 years, Daniel Dinzik, who went to be with the Lord in 2015. Flo and Dan were blessed with a loving family that includes seven grandchildren, as well as five great grand children, who will miss her very much. Flo was born on April 19, 1927, the daughter of Otto and Josephine Deutschlander, in Union, New Jersey. She was a graduate of Union High School, and Jersey City Medical Center, where she earned a degree as a Registered Nurse. Flo's skills as a nurse were ever present, even during her final years at the Tequesta Terrace Assisted Living Center, where she was always looking after her fellow residents, often making suggestions aimed at making them more comfortable. Perhaps more than anything else, Flo is remembered by those who knew her as being exceptionally loving and giving. Whether she was caring for her family or for people in need who had come across her path, Flo is remembered for her unfettered generosity. She gave freely to others, both materially and of her time and energy. She also was a crusader for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and never failed to share the Gospel with the people that came into her life. Much of life is about maintaining a balance, and Flo managed to make life fun for those around her while keeping her focus on eternity. She even insisted on naming the family boat "Fun Time"! Her grandchildren all recall the many happy times spent with their grandmother, whether racing around in a golf cart, or filling a shopping cart at the local mall. Whatever the activity, they recall the fun that they had with her. Her friends will recall many happy hours around a bridge table, where nothing made Flo happier than to have a great hand of cards! A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 16, at 10:00AM, at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center St., Jupiter, Florida, followed by a brief service at the burial site at Riverside Memorial Park, 19351 SE County Line Rd, Tequesta.
