Michele A Antoniewicz

Michele Antoniewicz (nee Christen), 67, passed away peacefully at Trustbridge Hospice in Jupiter, in the loving arms of her husband, Ron, on July 1, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Michele was born on May 30th to parents Leon and Rosemarie Christen while the couple were expats in Toronto, Canada for a brief period. Shortly following Michele’s birth, her parents returned to Princeton, NJ with Michele and her sister, Caroline. Brother Joseph (Joe) was born soon thereafter. Growing up in Princeton, Michele attended Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart and enjoyed summers at the Jersey shore. Following high school, Michele attended Denison University in Granville, Ohio, earning her bachelor’s degree. Michele had a deep passion for travel. She journeyed to Asia and India as a Fashion Buyer and Product Developer for May Merchandising Company (now part of Macy’s) where she created, sourced, and bought women’s sportswear. Michele lived adventurously all over the United States until she and Ron settled in Jupiter 20 years ago, where they thoroughly enjoyed their life together. Michele had an incredible smile and a fun-loving attitude that endeared her to everyone she met and knew. She had an amazing heart and loved selflessly. She was caring, giving and generous, and nothing could have exemplified this more than her loving decision to donate one of her kidneys to Ron, saving his life. Michele’s love did not end with people - she was a great lover of animals as well, especially dogs! She adored their sweet Goldendoodle, Ellie - and Ellie adored her. So did the many friends that Michele enjoyed spending time with. Her life was full and she filled her time with many passions. She loved riding her bicycle along the beach almost every day, was incredibly creative with art and decorating, and thoroughly enjoyed entertaining friends and family. She was a great chef and enjoyed fine wine and good company. Perhaps even more, she loved and excelled at golf where she had a wonderful time playing with friends! It only makes sense that she took a part-time job at the Jupiter Dunes Golf Club in her semi-retirement. Michele is survived by her loving husband, Ron; her mother, Rosemarie Christen of Manasquan, NJ; her sister, Caroline Boucher (Peter) of Edwards CO; her brother, Joe Christen (Jill) of Bayhead, NJ; her nephew, Whit Boucher, and nieces, Sarah Monday, Simone Christen, and Julia Christen. Michele will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Ron. She will also be greatly missed by her loving family and dear friends that she leaves behind, they too having had the gift of Michele’s love and light in their lives. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Jude Church, Tequesta, FL on Monday, July 22nd, at 11:00am, in the Chapel and will be followed by inurnment at 1:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of Peace, in Royal Palm Beach.
