Leanne Marie Elliott

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Leanne Marie Elliott, who departed this world on December 31, 2024, in Jupiter, Florida, at the age of 71. Born on December 29, 1953, in Tokyo, Japan, Leanne was a beacon of light and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Leanne was the cherished daughter of Carter and Anna Elliott, who preceded her in death, along with her beloved cousin, Jay Smith and her faithful companion Sam.. She leaves behind a loving family, including her sons, Brian Miller and his wife Dawn-Marie, and Chad Miller; her daughter, Katie Bellere, and her husband Steven. Leanne was a proud and loving grandmother to Keegan, Madison, Grace, Marley, and Sonny Miller, as well as Carter and Marilyn Bellere. She also delighted in her role as a great-grandmother to Wesley Smyth and a new grand daughter on the way, and Dallas and Paisley Anderson. Leanne is survived by her brother, Ken Elliott; sisters Lilly Camilli and Gretchen Cocuzza; Cousins Carter and Suzy Smith and numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom will miss her dearly. An artist at heart, Leanne was not just a mother, sister, nana, and aunt; she was a friend to many, known for her friendly smile, big heart, elegance, and grace. Throughout her life, she pursued her passions, from modeling and interior design to serving as a dedicated employee at the Volusia County Clerk’s office. She proudly attended Jupiter High School, was a Warrior cheerleader, where she forged lifelong friendships. Leanne was an active member of her community, belonging to The Rotary Club of Deland, Life Point Church Deland and Generation Church. As a young mother, she attended First United Methodist Church of Jupiter Tequesta and sang in the choir. Her hobbies included traveling, exploring antiques ,music and painting, often collaborating with other talented family artists in Deland and Jupiter. Her creativity knew no bounds, and her art reflected her beautiful spirit. Leanne’s battle with ALS was courageous and marked by the unwavering support of her family. Special thanks are extended to her sister Lilly Camilli, who faithfully cared for Leanne in her final days, and to the compassionate team at Jupiter Hospice, whose professionalism and kindness made her transition peaceful. Surrounded by family, Leanne left this world as she lived in it—surrounded by love, into the loving arms of God. As we say goodbye to Leanne, we celebrate a life full of love, artistry, and devotion to family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Trustbridge Hospice or Hospice of Palm Beach County, organizations that provided invaluable support during her illness. Leanne Marie Elliott will forever be remembered for the joy she brought into our lives and the love that will continue to resonate in our hearts. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave. We will love you forever.
