Elizabeth 'Beth' Rowe

Elizabeth W. Rowe "Beth", age 79, of Jupiter, Florida passed away peacefully on August 17th, 2024 with her loving family and friends by her side. Elizabeth "Beth" was born to Thomas and Virginia Wigglesworth on September 11th, 1944 in Washington, DC. where she lived with her family until graduating from high school. After attending Elon College in North Carolina, Beth moved to Miami, Florida where she and her first husband raised their three children. They built a successful business in West Kendall, “The Place For Wheels” bicycle shop. They also created and operated "Boystown BMX Track" where they established long-lasting relationships with the athletes and their families. She, later, went on to establish a career as a medical office administrator. After meeting her second husband, Thomas "Tom" Rowe, they moved to Jupiter Farms, Florida in 1994. She continued her position as a medical office administrator until her husband’s retirement from the Miami Beach Fire Department. During this time they enjoyed traveling together, making memories and connecting with many family members and friends along the way. While at home, she always looked forward to having her family visit her, especially the grandchildren. Beth created many friendships, as well, over the years who were very dear to her. Whether you were her old or new friend, she would be your “Best Friend” forever. After the difficult loss of her loving husband to cancer, Beth’s strength allowed her to continue to enjoy watching her beautiful family grow. She shared in countless holidays, birthdays, graduations, weddings & births. She loved her family very much and she looked forward to spending time with them, and they loved spending time with her. Her countless friendships were her support, as well. They enjoyed lunches, shopping, movies, church and especially laughter together. Beth had the biggest heart for her family, friends and almost anyone she met. She was an amazing mother, sister, daughter, wife, aunt, Memaw, Mimi & friend. Our lives are better because of her, and she will be greatly missed. Beth is survived by her brother; Thomas (Lynn) Wigglesworth; her three children; Jennifer (Benjamin) Young, Julie (Thomas) Yessman, William (Janet) Green V, and her step-son Seth (Katie) Rowe. She is also survived by her former husband, William Green IV, the father of her children. Grandchildren; Danielle (Jason) Cohen, Emily & Benjamin Young Jr, Grace & Emma Yessman, Nate, Maddie & Ellie Rowe. Great-grandchildren; Carson, Brayden & Eisley Cohen. Nieces and nephews; Stephanie, Nicole (Kirk), Eliot, Casey, Claire, Emily & Nikki. Great-nieces & nephews; Amber, Chase, Devin & Benjamin and her loving dog "Chewy". Beth was preceded in death by her husband & best friend, Thomas “Tom” Rowe, sister Suzanne Phillips and granddaughter Jessica Young. Friends and family are invited to a memorial to celebrate Beth’s beautiful life on Saturday, September 7th, 2024. Visitation beginning at 12:00 PM and Service begins at 1:00 PM.
